The National Information Services Agency (NISA) formerly known as the Seychelles Nation began operating as a budget independent commercial entity on the 3rd May 2010 following the approval of legislation to set up such an Agency. NISA is owned a hundred percent by the Government of Seychelles.
The main activity of NISA is producing a daily newspaper named “Seychelles Nation”.
NISA’s mission is its commitment in releasing a daily newspaper that promotes the principles of liberty, equality and fraternity.
For the future, NISA plans to diversify its business activities by having its own printing house. Such facility will allow NISA to have more control over printing quality and costs. In return, this will increase their revenue.
In 2013, NISA reported a profit of SR3.08 million representing an increase of 60% over the year 2012.
